McIntyre Named Livonia Athletic District General Manager

Livonia, Mich. -- Livonia Athletic District (LAD) investor group Stark Road Holdings, LLC, has named Todd E. McIntyre, MLD, its first General Manager.
McIntyre is an experienced sports and fitness professional with an entrepreneurial spirit. With seven (7) years of successful management experience, he is passionate about developing a team of dynamic leaders. His ideas focus on community support, formidable business partnerships, and positively impacting Metro Detroit through health & wellness.
McIntyre is eager for the opportunity, “I want to thank Matt Zacklan and Jonathan Hartzell for this opportunity, as well as the investor group. The Livonia Athletic District (LAD) is a beautiful sports complex that grants the community a place to improve in health and wellness, and immense possibilities for our youth sports organizations".
He believes the LAD can become a staple of health and wellness in Livonia, "My goal is to put our facility (the LAD) on the map and build a healthier Metro Detroit”.
McIntyre held leadership positions at two National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) institutions as Director of Athletics and Assistant Athletic Director. He served as General Manager for the Hoosier Hardwood Basketball Association and was an intercollegiate Head Men’s & Women’s Powerlifting Coach and Head Softball Coach. Early in his career, he was a Certified Personal Trainer and worked in Athletic Communications. Most recently, he worked as Director of Active Entertainment and Business Development.
He is also the Assistant Varsity Football Coach - Defensive Backs, Special Teams, at Salem High School (Canton, Mich.).
McIntyre holds two Bachelor’s (Sport Management and Business Administration) and a Master’s degree (Leadership Development). A National Academy of Sports Medicine license, and a United States Powerlifting Certification. He is a former NCAA Division II football student-athlete.
